Holy
Sounds Founders Meet with World Dignitaries in
New York City during 2002 World Economic Forum
New
York (May 2002)
- Mr. and Mrs. Timur and Alfiya Kuanyshev, Founders of the Holy
Sounds Foundation received blessings and endorsements for the
Foundation's work from several religious and academic leaders
during a series of meetings in New York City at the time of the
World Economic Forum ("WEF".)
Normally
held every year in Davos Switzerland, the WEF convened in New
York City for the first time, as a gesture of solidarity after
the events of September 11. A wide variety of government, business,
academic, religious and cultural dignitaries gathered to discuss
hopes and plans for future international cooperation.
The
Holy Sounds Foundation will make an important impact in this area,
through support of educational and cultural activities connecting
Muslims, Christians and Jews.
